About Nicole

Over the past 13 years, Nicole has discovered various modalities of complimentary medicine. Nicole received over one-thousand hours of massage training from Brenneke School of Massage, while it was still a small charming school nestled in Seattle. She has many years of experience working everywhere from resort spas to sports therapy clinics. She offers several different styles of massage.

Nicole is compassionate and committed to create growth, awareness, and overall well-being. Starting her Master's degree and building a foundation at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, she went on to complete her last year and received a Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the World Medicine Institute in Honolulu, HI.

While being a full-time grad student and working parent, Nicole realized the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of regular yoga practice. Yoga helped tremendously to create balance and relieve stress in her daily life. Following her passion to help others, she became a certified yoga instructor with the completion of a 200-hour training course form Core Power Yoga in San Diego. Wanting to learn fun and safe ways to share yoga with her kids and others, she completed an additional kids' yoga training course with Next Generation Yoga. With a never-ending interest in various modalities of healing, yoga training has been a perfect adjunct to Nicole's life.

In Nicole's free time she can be found surfing, playing at the beach with her two kids, or enjoying all the natural beauty this island holds.

Nicole's clients speak out

  • I was experiencing severe pain when surfing. My doctor told me a "knot" in my thoracic paraspinal muscles was the source of my pain. Working with Nicole has been wonderful. The "knot" is gone, and so is the pain! Nicole's acupuncture (really painless), cupping, and deep-tissue massage skills are excellent.
  • The daily juggle of life has often kept me up at night. I reached out to Nicole at AcuFit to assist me in finding relief for my sleepless nights. The first time I went to her, I was asleep early on my couch, which never happens. The second time I went to her, we discussed areas of need and she customized my session to suit me. She's patient, knowledgeable, and quick to relieve anything preventing me from operating at my peak. To top it off, she does massage, cupping, and several other services you won't find anywhere else out there. Her goal is to care for her clients to the best of her ability. The clock doesn't determine the best way she can service you. She learns your needs and how she can help you!

  • A friend referred me to AcuFit after I pinched my sciatic nerve. I've had problems with this issue on and off my entire life. The pain was terrible and I spent about a week hoping it would go away before making an appointment. I wish I had gone sooner — I could barely walk in, and I floated out! The results were immediate and I felt so much better. Nicole treated me using acupuncture, cupping, and massage. I'm so thankful to have found such a wonderful, healing place! I've already recommended her to several of my coworkers.

  • I have had aches and pains in my back, shoulders, and neck for a sustained period over the last 10 years and have received various treatments from masseurs, chiropractors, and physical therapists with various degrees of success in reducing pain and restoring physical function. I have found that Nicole is one of the few practitioners in this field that have helped reduce my pain, enabling me to pursue physical activities that I enjoy. Nicole has used a variety of techniques on me including massage, cupping, and acupuncture to help address my physical issues. Importantly she is attentive to the problem I describe and is thoughtful about the best strategy to help address the problem, often using a combination of techniques. She is one of the few massage therapists that I have visited who provides a proper deep-tissue massage that assists recovery and focuses on areas of concern, rather than being a massage therapist that just goes through the motions of their own standard massage program. She also provides advice on after-care and strategies to continue the healing process. She is very professional and personable and I would recommend her to anyone.
